Babysitting Class Held at Memorial

Memorial Hospital hosted their annual Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) class on May 23rd. Boys and girls ages 11-14 attended the day long event and learned valuable infant and child care along with emergency care. This class has become a valued resource for young children who have younger siblings they may often supervise without adults or for those looking to start their own babysitting business. Students complete booklet study along with hands on CPR demonstrations and diapering of infants. Memorial hosts this certified class annually at the start of summer to prepare the teens for caring for children during the summer months.
